That's cool that you get a chance to learn along the way man :waytogo: soak in as much as possible!! When building my 77 I can say I learned a TON from the experience and from others teaching me along the way :)

hmmm... i see your escalade bumper and raise you 6-piston/16" Wildwood brakes!

Looks good brother...

I have been at my wife about doing some more escalade exterior conversion parts (brake lights specifically) and she just won't bite. She likes the chrome on the truck as-is and doesn't want to bling it out. Grr!!!

Looks like we're gonna throw a towel in once we get the escalade roof rack and rear Wilwood brakes. Sigh...

thanks can't wait until it is done...I love the OEM chrome pieces that come on the esky and love how they are interchangeable. The breaks are nice but i've got other things I need to buy with all the $$$ i'd spend on that! Eventually they will need to be upgraded because of the 24s but for now the factory brake system is sufficient. And you say you are gonna throw in the towel... but we'll see about that hahah that's what I always say...

Escalade mirrors freshly painted GM Summit White. The chrome part was left alone while the gloss black window-side part of it was repainted gloss black.

for sure. best way though is separately one by one on ebay for around 70-80 total. i'll let you know if i see any. luckily for you, they make them in black so you could buy some that were already painted.

Am I just looking over it or did you not have the lower portion of the mirror filled in to fill the open area from your window trim?

The window trim is larger on the escalades then yours so you're going to have a big ass gap when you put your mirrors on. You'll see when you bolt them up. That's the only reason I haven't put these mirrors on my tahoe
