no this applies only on the front not the rear. Rear is easy to make lower by making the autoride links shorter. Then if you want a better ride you can cut the springs and autoride will pick it up and put air into the bags which makes the rear end not soggy. So you can cut loops off and still be low and ride good.

Im going to be doing the front first. With 305 35 24 i dont want to go to low to rub but 3/4 more than what im at now would be perfect.

also with the whipple 2300 will lower it more in the front so would be 1 inch lower than what im at now which is even better.

i wish i would have measured before and after height when i installed the blower...would have been good info...

How much should i shorten the rears to lower it in the rear more? basically about what ratio does it lower at? ex: 5mm of the rod equal half inch?

right now what size tires are on the truck and what does it measure from ground to fenderlip all around? you have the belltech 2/3-4 kit right?

the blower lowers 5/15-3/8 already have customers that put in blowers ie 1900-2300

on my 305 35 24 with the belltech kit im at
34 11/16 in front both sides
34 3/4 drivers rear
35 pass rear

I just want to get the front down to about 3/4 just to has a little rake to it. The rear i can cut the loops since they have dead coils to get it where I want it to sit at.

It has the stock 275/55-20 ...belltech 2/4 kit from you without the spacer in the rear. Will measure the height all around again tonight, forgot the measurements.

Here is what it sits at now...could maybe use a slight drop or bigger wheels

275 55 20 31.91 tall
305 35 24 is 32.41 tall

1/2 inch taller tire im on so that means 1/4 at fenderlip

Your prob at 33.75-34 front and rear 34.5-34.75

on your truck id only go 1/2 inch lower since you have the blower.

rear you can just pull the airlines off and see where the truck sits thats the lowest your going to get. But the trick is if the truck sits lower than that the bags will air up. You need air in the bags for it to ride good. nO air means not a good ride.

Been doing this for over 6 years now on the 07 up trucks (aug 2006 did the first one and customer still has the truck with no issues)

I have a machine shop I do stuff out of so you will need a machine shop to do this. You remove the spring assembly and you pull up the lower spring perch and you will actaully do 2 grooves. The top groove is the factory one. The middle one is put at .40 under the oem ring. Then the 3rd one is .620 from original snap ring groove.

I was at 34 3/4 from ground to fenderlip on 305 30 24s and belltech spindles on my 2011 escalade. Going .40 under the original groove I am now at 34 1/8 which was 5/8 of a inch drop. THe .62 should give you about 1 inch drop.

Now you guys can go lower than 1 inch but just a heads up after 1 inch ride suffers and will kill the stock shocks a lot faster. Also remember to cut the front bumpstops down when you do this mod.

Truck looks good Ill take pics in the morning but right now just finishing up loading my ctsv and headed to the street races
