This UOA report is about 0w20 synthetic "performance" motor oil that Superior Lubricants of Hebron, IN sales & distributes via HPLoil.com, and/or 219-996-3460. It's not their "race oil".

The vehicle is our 07 GMC Yukon Denali w/all aluminum 6.2L L92 with 190k miles. We've owned it for 5 yrs. It consumes about 1/2 qt per 5000 miles. The makeup oil was the same 0w-20.

This oil sample had 7400 miles in 153 hrs in 9 mths, mostly hwy miles, averaged 48+ mph and 17+ mpg.

DIC indicated 39% remaining when sample was taken.

The other results are as follows:
Samples #2 & 3 are the same load of Amsoil ASM 0w-20.
Sample #4 is Kirkland 5w-30
Samples #5 is Mobil Delvac1 ESP 5w-30.

In 2020 I modified this vehicle. I increased its oil sump capacity to 11 qts, added an oil cooler, and added a remote engine oil bypass filter setup (Amsoil EaBP90).

Our use of this vehicle changed mid-2023. We no longer are using it (as often) to make the 1000 mile each way trip between our TX and CO homes. So, I removed the above-mentioned mods and put it back together stock. The mods weren't as effective at increasing oil change intervals as I had hoped for. Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

Stock sump capacity is again 6 qts. The catch can I installed in late 2018 will stay. It catches 2 oz per oil change interval.

Upon receipt of this report I changed the oil to 5 qts Mobil1 full synthetic 0w-40 Euro and 1 qt Valvoline PB "Restore" (high ester) 10w-30, and the oil filter to a Fram Ultra XG10060.

What say U?

All I can say is GREAT data. What I get from it is I feel better about not having a dual filtration setup. I've never heard of the Valvoline Restore. I'm not a fan of the lightweight oil, but my uses are much different than yours and heavier oil just makes me feel better about things. My Blackstone reports tell me it's fine. I'll be mailing them my most recent sample soon.

Valvoline Premium Blue "RESTORE" virgin/new oil analysis. Viscosity should read 11.7 not 1.7.
it's a unique oil that is no longer available. It was expensive because its ingredients are expensive. I got lucky and found 4 gallons on BITOG.

The specs look to be quite comparable to Rotella T6.

Invalid link. Don't tease me.
