Orders for 2021 Tahoe PPV/SSVs were stopped in January due to the shortage. Next time you can order them seems to be in August for 2022s. Anything ordered prior to cutoff is being produced. My next batch is expected to be built in 2 weeks. I currently have 86 in the system. I wish I had 100 more waiting but oh well.

Nope, they're now using Firestone Firehawk Pursuits.

Nice, thx. What are you guys doing to that harness? I'm surprised they're using the touchscreen deal(radio) for the ppv's.

As said above, GM includes a harness in the cargo space AND console area (the cargo space harness is new for 2021) which allows us to access direct feeds from the battery, ignition, brakes, transmission park, vehicle speed, door triggers, and wires that GM pre runs to add lights and siren speakers. Just recently GM has nixxed the 6J3 option which adds wires in the grille for lights and a siren speaker.

The best part is is that GM is offering a ton of pre-ran wires as standard, meanwhile to achieve the same amount in a Ford Police Interceptor Utility (Explorer), you'd have to order multiple options costing nearly an additional $1000.

They're utilizing a smaller version of the touchscreen available in the civilian models. It's something people who use Tahoes love, blows the radio screen in the FPIU out of the water.

How are the side bolsters on the new front seats? I have 4 2021 PPVS being built right now and the biggest issue with the prior generation was that the side bolsters protruded out too far and made it super uncomfortable for everyone wearing gun belts. I was reassured by a rep that Chevy fixed that problem for this new generation, but I haven't seen any pictures of the new PPV seats. Thanks

You are going to have a extremely long wait as I have not seen one 2021 PPV Tahoe hit the streets anywhere in my neck of the woods.

Some of the outfitter in CT are working on them and a few are on the roads already. Our 4 are currently in production and were approved for production last month...luckily...

Hey everyone. I work in a small town PD in Alabama. We were trying to get a 2021 for me and found out they had stopped taking orders. Now, have to wait on a 2022. Upfitter here is saying that a lot of the interior equipment cannot be re-used from the previous model to this new one. So, that means new cage and console too. What is working good in these?
