Had to post because of the THING. I had one and my dad had two. We rebuilt all three motors. I sold mine because I needed the money for college. Dad sold his to buy more antique tractors. Boy I wish had one of my dads now. He passed away three years ago. He was an AF Fighter Pilot and flew all the early jets back when it wasn't uncommon to land dead stick because half your compressor went out the side of the aircraft. He hit an albatross over the South China Sea which also totaled a T-33.
I did the 'groover' thing to 'convert' two of my tires into 'radials' when I was stationed in Germany. All four tires had to be bias ply or radial. I found some big ole Army chemical solder gun and 'grooved' RADIAL into the sidewalls!

this is about how it normally sits.

yes there is a full 3800 engine and trans in there, as well as many truck rotors, 3800 axle shafts, truck axles and hubs, several power steering racks, and much more. there was 1,400lbs in all in there.

also hauled two more loads of scrap ( dishwasher, stove, hotwater heater, and some other stuff. ) as well as two or three more trips to the dump and now have enough room to get the bikes inside for the winter, as well as two extra riding mowers! so great progress on that, and will be getting rid of all but one mower in the spring, so it will be good room gained.

also on the astra got the cam selinoides changed, but to very little avail, i am pretty sure it needs the variable cam gears replaced also.
