Was going to hold off on overhauling the steering till the spring, but it didn't want to cooperate. Found a leak on the steering gear box at the pitman arm shaft and while giving everything a once over found a leak on the power steering pump. Everything looked original so instead of replacing the seals I replaced them both with reman. parts and new hoses and while removing pitman arm realized it had a bit to much play and replaced that while I had everything apart. So now no more leak and as a bonus my steering is a heel of a lot tighter that it was before. :) I have to relearn how to drive this thing which isn't a bad thing

Unfortunately haven't had a chance to do more work on the Tahoe but it caused me more work. Wifey fell in love with my headlights so I had to upgrade the headlights on her Equinox. Wound up doing the 50W in the low beams and 80w in the high beams. Loved it so much I decided if I don't put the light bar on the Tahoe I'm upgrading the high beams from the 50W leds to the 80w leds

Looked into them both and heard too many cons on the HIDs. Everything from ballasts crapping out frequently to too much heat damaging headlightlens. Also, I like to try different things so since I was able to get the LEDs from amazon I figured I'd try them and if I didn't like them I would just send them back. Wound up loving them so much I put a set in my 2010 Equinox (50w low beams 80w high beams) and I am about to help my brother in law put a set of them in his 2014 Silverado because he liked them on my Tahoe. It is all a matter of preference I just wanted brighter whiter light without blinding other drivers and potentially damaging the truck. I also didn't want to spend a fortune doing a projector retrofit to do it correct; I have too many other mods I want to do first.

Had to change the fuel pump a couple weeks ago so I put a Delphi unit in, put some powerstop rotors and pads on the front and a water pump because it was leaking. Then today I finally had a warm day so I put a powermaster 200amp alternator in since my old one was acting squirrely. Hopefully the weather keeps getting nicer so I can get some more work done.
