I just ordered an MHL adapter and an HDMI to composite adapter to attempt to make this work with my Android phone.

I am going to attempt to use the inputs on the back of the console to mirror my phone screen to both my front and rear screens using simple RCA cables hooked to the composite adapter. I will post up results tomorrow night.

Thank you I appreciate the time and effort on doing this. This is exactly what i was looking to do.

Try more like $700. I'd really like to know what the difference is to. But I guess It doesn't matter for me because I already ordered the $70 solution hosse came up with.

Here's the installed product. Used it on a road trip this weekend and worked perfect.

It just takes 1 cord running to your phone from what you see there.

So with the hack is it possible to put two usb sticks in the car and toggle between the two?

In essence giving 5 possible sources:
1. USB 1 (inside center console or behind front screen?)
2. USB 2 (back of center console)
3. SD Card
4. Blu Ray
5. Aux in

It would be nice to use 1 thru 3 on 3 different screens (Yukon XL). 3 Rows with 3 different digital media options playing at the same time. No need for Blu Ray or Aux.

I contacted the new company yesterday and here is their response
Michael,

We would send you an HMI that would be programmed for the unlock, then you would send you back the one that gets swapped in the vehicle. Currently on about a two week bag log on these, and we are filling them on a first come, first serve basis due to popular demand.

No price given as if yet... But no more downed vehicles or splicing wires together

And I cant believe I actually have to say this but when you return your core PLEASE pack it the way it came to you :) There was some guy who threw it in a pad pack and it got destroyed recently. With the demand its SUPER hard to have a slowdown like that :(

and FYI since I'm sure it will come up, retail on the modules is $925 LOL
