i can only imagine whats going on in the internals. when I had my '99 hoe, one winter I got a flat and put the spare (245) on, not even thinking that the other 3 I had on were 265s. The noises that my transfer case and front diff made...horrible, especially in 4x4. These things are extremely sensitive to different diameters, I mean you gotta figure, despite the clutchpacks, its all locked together...somethings going to give and its certainly not going to be a wheel and tire, if you catch my drift

In case anyone is unsure of why the hate for the three different tire sizes, this chart should clear that up. Chart details calculated from HERE.

Tire 1 - 285/40R24
Overall Diameter: 32.97 in
Revs per Mile: 630.8
Speedometer1: mph
Speedometer Difference: 0%

Tire 2 - 305/35R24
Overall Diameter: 32.40 in
Revs per Mile: 641.9
Speedometer1: 61.0 mph
Speedometer Difference: 1.759% too fast

Tire 3 - 295/40R24
Overall Diameter: 33.29 in
Revs per Mile: 624.8
Speedometer1: 59.4 mph
Speedometer Difference: 0.960% too slow

With three different tire sizes, the rear drive wheels are fighting each other, and are really stressing the driveline out. Ditto for the front when 4x4 engaged. Also steering has to be pulling with different size tires, hence the percieved need for an alignment.

All that being said, he has purchased a set of stock rims and tires HERE, so hopefully his situation will be resolved.

EDIT: DOPE! Smurphy80 beat me to it!

WOW guys.. thanks for all the LOVE.. jezzz

I know i sound like a broken TAPE recorder. but remember the majority of the time. the SUV was at the body shop and i was not able to do any repair to it at all. i dint even have time to bring it to shop for a wheel alignment.

I also mention that i had different tires.

I never really mention the tire size. i only posted the size last night.

And yes. the Car Drive so bad that it was scary to drive. so scary that i don't allow my kids in the SUV. I don't even like to drive the SUV. it Waste so much gas iam going to be broke

And no.. i dint buy the Stock. rims.. my Wife dint like it. plus my 24" rims has total diameter of 32" while the stock rims has 31" so iam losing only 1" so i just stay with this BIG 24" rims

I have to wait next week when my wife and I gets paid.. I want to buy New Tires.. ALL SAME SIZE.

www.tireeasy.com

pretty cheap/good tires at low pricing. I bought several sets from them without to much of a problem. Besides having one wrong set sent to me from a nearby customer but that was fixed within two days.
