I guess you're right. I actually use my nav a lot even though I know where I'm going cause it shows me where all the traffic is at a glance, so it actually saves me a LOT of time.

But I also go to a lot of places I've never been before, and would rather not be dependent on my phone to talk and navigate at the same time, and worry if I'm a low reception area, or god forbid i loose/damage my phone.

But obviously you know what works for you. :)

Congrats on the upgrade.

Yeah, you have the perfect argument for spending the extra money for the Nav unit. Now my wife on the other hand, she gets lost driving to the grocery store. She has Nav in her ride.

Hey Nathan ...... is this thing easy to use with large icons?

I have a issue with my Sony XAV and using the smallish icons while going down the road.

yes. No issues with it what so ever. I use the steering wheel controls 90% of the time though. but I never have issues hitting the correct tab/button on screen when I need to.

Nothing major yet :secret: , but I scored a 3rd row captains chair off craigslist today. Guy had one in his garage sitting around, and since I have my stereo on the drivers side, it was a great score for me.

Sweet! Looks good. Not a lot of room for groceries back there with that sub box ;)

Finally added the 2nd row headrest LCD for the 3rd row seat. Only took me 6-7 months. I've had it sitting in my garage.
