7/30/19 I guess I made a good impression with the owner of DC Audio when I was in Reno. He put me on Team DC! F4883213-E99F-4151-8BC8-5109FA4BF5DC.jpeg

8/25/19 surf city was awesome per usual. Took home two second place trophy’s. Lost my secondary alt though which wasn’t fun. But luckily my good friend won a raffle there with a brand new billet 390 CES gm alt in it. He has a newer civic si so he gave me a smokin deal and I was able to swap the alt out shortly after. 61538AFF-AC58-4646-B265-24F7A3B76AA6.jpegD416B1B7-9EAF-4B62-AA92-09840A404826.jpeg 2231F5F3-1FA9-48D4-9FA8-697E14E9F9D7.jpeg80ED9F20-5585-45B8-9093-097DDFAFCE3C.jpeg A4052ABF-5763-495D-A208-DB2411F88947.jpeg

9/14/19 had slam panda systems make me a custom bass knob with a magnetic mount. Black/blue with Team NWSPL, Team DC and shtnonm logo. 1DA31FDF-5B3C-472E-9AAA-50A69694C6E1.jpeg513EC7CD-C75C-4B94-A4D2-315E4A2E2F97.jpeg
9/17/19. Well here is the bad news. Working night shift for a few weeks at this point. Job got cancelled one of the nights so I was gonna head down to the store around midnight to get a energy drink to try and stay up. Got about 1/4 mile from my house and a stupid ass deer ran in front of me. :893Chainsaw-Smilie-
Luckily I was able to slow down a little before he hit the front. Broke the grille, pushed the lower center mount of the grille into the transmission cooler making it leak, busted the bumper cap, bent the bumper, broke the bracket assembly for the driver side lights, broke my corner light, and one of my switchback bulbs. :(4C1C6754-48E0-4E42-9A12-E806B288FB89.jpeg59813E97-CED5-4418-9CF5-97C85531DDE8.jpegB12DAF99-F8D4-4B63-A231-B7B3931B7800.jpeg
There is a 500 dollar unexpected bill ugh

9/18/19 at this point I’m working night shift. Gotta be into work at 9pm. Apparently the anger/stress from hitting the deer was enough to keep me up all night so I didn’t need to get a energy drink :emotions34: I don’t think I put it in the build thread but that green civic I had I sold back right before the reno trip cause I got moved to our office that’s closer to my house. So needed the Tahoe to get to work. First thing that morning I borrowed my dads spare duramax to get down to the wrecking yard and the parts store for the headlight bracket and oil cooler. Luckily they had a pickup in their Washington yard with the front bumper and grille for 300 so I got those ordered. My buddy works at the wrecking yard so he gave me the headlight bracket for free. Went down and got the trans cooler at the parts store. Got everything put back together and threw the old grille back on for now. My corner light housing was broken but I got it rigged enough and glued back together to hold at least.

9/19/19 front bumper came in, grille still hadn’t though.

Also I had started a plan to change up the stance on this thing since I didn’t wheel it anymore and only drove it to work and to audio shows I was trying to gain a couple mpg first. Got some fuel ignite 20x10 -19 offset wheels, new 285/50/20 nitto terra grapplers were on their way. I will admit I was questioning my decisions at first. AB6CA97B-09D9-4DB9-82BB-4145C006AC30.jpeg
I liked the wheels but hated the bubbled put mud tire. I’m more of a squared over stretched or ballooned out tire type of guy.
9/26/19 grille finally got here and my buddy sent me these pics. Yeah not paying for that. He told me same price he can get me a brand new one in a couple days. Well yeah duh I wish we would have done that in the first place. E38B759F-A535-4FDE-9051-488B4A7A1C60.jpeg555F8F8B-3A6C-4454-ABD6-DE21229D7EB1.jpeg370164E7-C2AE-4380-A5D9-E338866FEB59.jpeg

9/26/19 tires finally came in. Again still questioning my decisions :(53A440C5-5C43-404A-BABB-43437950D34E.jpeg
Dropped the torsion bars down as much as possible, and let all the air out of the helper bags in the back. It’ll do for now.

9/27/19 belltech 759nd lowering kit came in. Got that swapped out. Those helper bags were a absolute ***** to try to get out of the z71 coils. After remembering I paid 50 bucks for the coils I said **** it and cut the top ring off the spring and pulled the bags out. The belltech 4” drop springs were a lot wider which made the bags fit inside easily. Got it on the ground and took it down for alignment. Again still questioning my decisions wasn’t sold on it. After alignment I got it home, pulled the roof rack off and took some air out of the bags to make it more level. At this point I was happy and really started liking the way it turned out. Still waiting on the grille at this point though. 28591F65-525B-464B-BAE9-C7B5CDCF28AF.jpeg78C86587-2EBC-420A-A77D-4C76DFF76878.jpeg

9/30/19 grille came in. Got it put on but wasn’t able to see it in the daylight because of the transition back to days working 12-15 hrs for a few days. So got to work at dark and got back to the Tahoe after dark again.
10/1/19 finally was able to take some daylight shots. The chrome really has grown on me. Might paint match the border around the mesh again when it warms up but I’m stoked on the new look. And honestly it drives and rides 10x better lowered. 2A82AE06-90EC-4D32-A33C-C37868B5E60B.jpegA437AE20-610A-4BAD-A5C5-D6A428008604.jpegF14D81AB-3DCC-404F-A35C-7D9EC041CD68.jpeg995A4DC2-CCDC-4F54-8195-B1ED64A47CFF.jpeg0731DF05-4AC2-4225-A437-A01FCC3285E3.jpeg

10/06/19 nw iasca finals and 2020 season opener was a success and was able to show up with a new look! Took home a couple second place finishes here. Had a personal best during my music run though. 150.5db 30 second average with both front doors open. Not bad for a no wall Tahoe clamping less than 10,000 watts! 790BA7E6-177B-4B87-B14D-63961EFB0AFB.jpeg654055B6-E9EB-401A-82B2-8E9ED30F68CE.jpeg7D252969-1C36-49B9-BB75-1BDB7CB6802E.jpeg
