Do you plan to buy a longblock, or assemble yourself a decent 355.
If you drive it moderate, just get a new longblock stock, add a small cam and exhaust and call it a day. :)

I am looking for a long block, adding my votec intake and installing...trying to do it in a weekend (removal and install) I cant find a 355...google isnt my friend today!

a 355 is just a rebuilt 350, bored .030 over.

Understand the .030 over but the problem is I can find a long block to buy thats already punched.

I hear ya all on the 383. I just dont have $4800 at the moment.

Blue Flame, that engine is not legal on pollution controled vehicles...we have yearly safety and smog inspections...what a pain, they even check your window tint.

How hard is it to stuff a 6.0L in her? That would require new motor mounts, computer and the such correct?

that was an example, you can find tons of rebuilt 355 Vortecs out there that are bolt on upper fuel injection and roll.

The 6.0 is a direct swap, just retune computer. All externals are the same.

The 6.0 is an LS based engine ... it's not a direct swap for a TBI 350 ... not even close.

Buying a 355 over a 350 isn't going to get you any more power ... if given a choice it's almost always better to go with a virgin block.
