Hi Guys, So I'm driving home yesterday in my totally great running 99 Yukon Denali and I get off the freeway and stop at the red light. When the light turns green I go and as my trans shifts from 1st to 2nd I hear this loud harsh clank or clunk. It shocks me cuz ive never heard such a noise from this vehicle before!
No other time does this noise occur except the 1-2 upshift. If I just start in 2nd gear and the pop it into drive no sound so I can drive it a bit without the clunk.
Any Ideas? Valve body, fluids, solenoids?
