Well if that amp is bridgeable at 4 ohms, you are looking at 400rms to throw at a subwoofer.

Thats alot of power for an 8inch Sub so if money isnt a problem a JL 8W7 would be something to look at depending on the depth of the box.

is there a way to tell if the amp is bridgeable at 4ohms if you don't have the manual?

since i'm wanting to do this project on a very small budget, i might look to another sub a little bit cheaper.

from the thread it seems he wants to use the stock location so a 8W7 is outta the question.

if your gonna use the stock location with that amp which probably does more like 250-300rms bridged b/c its 200x2 PEAK. a cost effective 8inch:all under $75

boston acoustics g108-4
JL Audio 8W1v2-4
Rockford P1S48
Lanzar MAX8
Infinity Reference 860
PowerBass Xtreme XL-84

the powerbass would be the #1 option imo but the mounting depth might be to deep for the stock location

i'll look into these. thanks for the help.

Would the Kicker CVT8" slim work with the Factory Bose Amp? My sub is pretty much gone but want to retain everything else factory.

If they are back in stock the Soundsplinter RL-i8 is a great little sub and they like small boxes too.

AN 8 inch Kicker CVT will fit in the factory sub box. You don't need the slim or shallopw mount one, the regulat CVT will fit but just barely. The magnet will actually be touching the back wall of the enclosure. I've heard a few people on another forum say that a Memphis 8 fits perfectly in there and sound awesome too.
