I have searched the forum with no luck for what i would think would bea common issue... I have an 07 Tahoe 4wd and while changing brake pads i noticed the passenger side front axle boot has torn and there is grease all over everything...
Tahoe has about 143k on it. I dont notice any unusual noises or any difference in how the vehicle operates.
I have seen on another forum for an older body style tahoe that said its easier to replace the whole axle assembly than it is to replace the boot...
Can anyone help me out here or point me to somewhere with a how-to-guide?
Thanks for any help, im trying to do this as cheaply as possible and hopefully do it myself
