Hey guys, so I used to have a duel flowmaster setup on my car with the super 44 muffler and it was way to loud! So now im back to stock, but ive been missing the truck sounding like a truck! So i am leaning back into getting a muffler put on but this time i want magnaflow. I see a lot of you have the 5X11X22 magnaflow on your trucks. What do you guys think of them. To make clear what im looking for...I want a deep bubble tone at idle and a nice ton at reving but i dont want cabin noise! or let me say cabin noise at a minimum. Any suggestions? PArt numbers? Sound clips? ETC. would be awsome!

I have the Magnaflow and I like it. There is some drone at 2500 to 3000 rpm, but IMO it sounds good and not too intrusive. Nice sound at startup/idle and sounds mean at WOT :). One way to describe the sound, is mellow/smooth.

Having said that, I might try the Corsa Sport one day. It has a little more crisp sound, but it might be a little too quiet inside for me. I like to at least have some exhaust sound even at light throttle.

why dont you want to stay with Flowmaster? The Super44 is one of the loudest they have so not surprised it was too loud. I have a dual flow 40 series and its perfect. Honestly though whats perfect, too loud, or too quiet is all personal opinion. I might be able to get you a sound clip of my yukon (5.3L) with my exhaust.
