Need Help With Wiring Issue

I have a 2016 PPV that was decommissioned by morons. Can anybody tell me if what looks like a solenoid in PHOTO 1 is factory or upfitter installed and whether it is related to the equipment battery? The wire on the left going to the main battery [red/purple] was cut. There is a similar red/purple at the equipment battery that was cut [photo 2] and yet another cut end appearing at the firewall [photo 3] Is any of this factory or something an upfitter installed? Thanks.

That relay is definitely aftermarket, and looks like a 'standard' starter solenoid for Ford vehicles. It has many other uses, and is probably a pretty heavy-duty unit.

I know nothing of the other wiring questions, though. Our '18 had a second battery, but all that stuff was cut out and the second battery removed.
