Unplug it and clean the connector? Can you use crc electric parts cleaner? I know that stuff can make some plastic brittle. Don’t ask me how I know

It's all I run! Of course she'll run better on 93!Was thinking about running 93 octane… is this really necessary? And than add some chevron with techron? Heard good things. Someone said IAC so maybe it is idle related. Idk
On my scanner my truck was already warmed up when I did the load test at 2k rpm on the alternator. I did it twice and it said bad and than said warning on the second go.It's all I run! Of course she'll run better on 93!
As part of RVC, when the truck first starts, for the first minute or two or however long the computers decide, the alternator runs at full output before switching to another charging schedule. That's what that tester was seeing. Now, if she's always running at full output, the alternator is trying to keep alive a bad battery.
I wanted to start to figure it out, but now it's stone cold dead. I have dual batteries that are maybe 4 years old, and a mechman alternator. I drove it Friday and it was fine, but yesterday it's dead enough that the interior lights don't come on.Maybe we can knock this out together
