The part the wheel mounts to is the hub and the bearings inside the hub can go bad and make the front wheels wobble. Given the age of ur ride the bearings may be bad, but they can't be serviced. Hub has to be replaced. See above ^^ how to see if they are bad.

Do you have your stocks? if you mount them will it still do it?

I used to have 20's on a mitsu eclipse with a 30 series tire and sometimes you have to put up with a little shake or rattle in order to look good.

no nothings wrong when the stocks are on..

Think about how much additional rotating mass you are adding. There are limited things that can cuase this, start at the bottom and work your way up. Check your hubs and check them soon. If they are that bad and give out your wheel falls completely off which I have seen the result of at 20 and 60 mph and it is not pretty.

Sometimes it makes noise and sometimes it doesn't.

Where are you located?

No offense but it seems like you do know know much about suspensions but there has to be someone near you that is competent enough to figure out the problem. Either a member here or a shop. Hell I wish you lived by me so I could physically see the truck and figure out the problem for you.

What you want to do is jack the front of your vehicle up and take the weight off the wheels. Grap top/bottom and or side/side and see if there is much play. If for some reason you can't jack it up you can do it while all the weight is on the front like normal but it can be harder to notice.

It sounds l might have to agree with fire730, take it to a shop that you trust and they can figure it out easily. It sounds like you are going to have to take it somewhere to have them fix it anyways.
