New 2023 Tahoe Premier just arrived a few weeks ago. Finally got the tint and black bowties installed. Still pondering the aftermarket AMP power steps. Thoughts?

Also, surprised on the old school rear light bulbs that are not LED. I've seen the videos for swap out that include wiring in a resistor so the truck doesn't think the bulb is burnt out. These videos look to be 2 years old, are there any new LED replacement bulbs that are plug n play?

Following a new Escalade yesterday, had a brake light out. Other side and high mount lights worked. Looked to have full LED rear lights. I wonder what that would cost to replace that assembly? Probably warranty at this point but down the road I'd guess it would be $600 minimum. Require a BCM flash? Give me a good old 1157/2057 or two back there.

Congrats on the new ride! Looks awesome! Honestly, I would rather have conventional bulbs in my tail lights. We have LEDs on our Infiniti, and of course, one of them failed. Replacements are astronomical. I have only replaced one bulb in 60,000 miles of total driving on either of our Denali‘s. Total cost: $5.

There will always be people who have no problems. All I'm saying is that the conventional bulbs on some of these new trucks is a good thing. The previous generation of these trucks had problems with the LED taillights - on the GMC's especially. And replacements are quite dear indeed. So for my money, I prefer the conventional bulbs.

I prefer led bulbs, and am handy enough to replace things as needed and converted my tahoe over to led lights in the rear shirtly after i got it. Now if bulb goes bad, i can swap out in a few minutes when i get replacenemts. Side note my 11 acadia have led bulbs in rear for tail/brake, and none were out when traded in.

The Infiniti that we traded had half of the left side tail light (all LED) out. $700 for a new tail light. No repair option. I'm totally ok with LED bulbs, just can't get straight answers on which ones to use.

Is there a LED bulb thread somewhere that outlines exactly what bulbs works and how before I begin throwing bulbs at this 2023 Tahoe?
