You might need to consider upgrading your torsion bars with that extra weight.

That's not a bad suggestion. Would dual shocks up front compensate for the weight or is torsion bars the best route? I would like to keep the ride somewhat comfy.

No clue but it's a heavy bastard. Took me and another buddy to put it on but still was really heavy

I designed it in autocad and sent the individual plate drawings to a steel house. They laser cut the parts based on the .dwg files that I sent them.

Thanks Donnie. You're welcome to take some design cues if you'd like. I'm building a second one for a buddy that helped me lift my truck, so not like it'll be one-of-a-kind. Feel free to move this to the build thread if that's where it should be.

Here is a close up of the wheels:

Thank you, but there is not much to look at right now. The interior is torn apart getting a much needed upgrade at Audio x in Florence AL. The front seats are out of an '05 GTO and are at the upholstery shop getting the GTO logo removed. The rear bench is getting some foam work and re-covered to match the fronts.

I'll post up some pics when I get it back toward the end of the month or so.
