So I'm about to do an ATF drain and fill this weekend on my 06 denali with 90K and I'd like to transition to synthetic. I found an ac delco dexron vi synthetic on Amazon for what appears to be a good price. The problem is that I can't find any reviews on it (anywhere) and it looks like it was just released sometime last year. I figure since it's ac delco and dexron vi what could go wrong but I wanted to see if anyone here has any experience with it before I pull the trigger.

I use the Supertech from Walmart, $4.27 a quart is a steal. It's been good in all 6 of my GMs

Dex 6 is Dex 6... you can't put that rating on there if the fluid doesn't meet it. You're fine in any Dex 6 fluid, including "cheap" Walmart stuff. I'm planning to do the Walmart Supertech soon

When i did my 50k fluid change i used the delco dexron vi. I`m at just over 100k now and ready to do it again and i plan on sticking with delco but like the other guys said you`ll be fine with other brands.

The delco dex-vi on amazon is exactly what I bought for mine for the most recent filter change at 150k. Great price for oem fluid. It's been around since gm switched to it in 2006-2007.

I bought a gallon from Amazon last month and used it for my transfer case (2009). Nothing wrong with OEM fluids. Guess I should write a review, huh?
I'm going to write a review for Amazon. I was just shocked to find none on Amazon when there's tons of reviews on other brands. I was thinking folks knew something I didn't.:emotions34:

Do you have the part number for the fluid and is it safe to use in a 2002 2wd 4l60e trans? I really need to do a flush Thanks
