I finally received my new pump. Took almost a month trying to find someone who actually had it in stock. I ordered from three different places that waited until after I ordered the pump for them to tell me it's on manufacturer backorder til late April/early May. Then I finally found someone who had one left in stock.
This is a new pump from Aeromotive that fits in a lot of stock applications with little to no mods, yet flows 2-3 times more than stock pumps at the same psi and voltage, and more than the common Walbro 255 upgrade (340 lph compared to Walbro's 255 lph). I dropped the tank yesterday and had to modify the stock bucket slightly to slide the pump sock into place. This pump draws more current than stock, so I ran a dedicated 10ga power wire from the battery to a relay to power the pump. I meant to do a tech write-up but ended up almost finishing the install before I remembered to take pics.
I noticed the engine started instantly and pressure jumped up immediately as soon as I turned on the ign, much quicker than with the stock pump. I havent got on it WOT but will soon. Another plus, you can't even here the pump at all. If it wasn't for my fuel pressure gauge showing pressure, I would have thought the pump wasn't turning on.

For about $180 the price isn't bad at all, especially from a good aftermarket company like Aeromotive. When you look at stock replacements, most of them are the entire assembly with sender, bucket, etc, and cost 2-3 times more. You have to mod the bucket to fit this pump, but well worth it if you need a hi-perf pump.

Sorry to dig this up from so long ago, but which fuel pump is it? There are 3 labeled center inlet, offset inlet, offset inlet & outlet. My current pump is dying and I need to upgrade anyway for s/c setup.
