Hey guys...I searched and couldn't find the answer. I need to replace my alternator. Can I go with a 130 Amp one, without changing or swapping out anything like a pulley? Will the 130 just bolt right in and be fine with stock belts?
I think my stock is a 105 Amp alternator.
If so...what is the best alternator to get?
Also...while doing this...should I do other things? My Tahoe has 108,000 miles.
Thanks so much for the help! I truly appreciate it!

everything will work. You will just need a longer serpentine belt. The 145 and 160 use the same belt to make up for the larger housing.

My Z71 has a 176 amp alternator that looked like the previous owner replaced. Since they knew nothing about cars, I assume it was stock equivalent.
