Hey guys and gals! New to the forum. I have a 2002 2wd Tahoe that I have had for a couple years, was going to sell and get something else but decided to go ahead and keep her. Right now its on 22's that were on it when I bought it. I desperatley want to get rid of them and go with 35's. From browsing the forum am I correct in understanding that I just need Ford keys, shocks and spacers in the rear to clear?? Or would I be better off with a 3" spindle and spacers? from reading thru the forums think I am just confusing myself on what I need. Obviously I will be buying wheels and tires, looking into just picking up some Z-71 stockers or other suggestions???

Guess I am really just looking for opinions and suggestions on what to run, looking for this look: and maybe bigger later.

Only pic I can find of the Tahoe here at work, will post more later.

On another note, anybody looking for some 22's, I have some for sale lol.

Welcome to the forum. We'll be glad to help you find waste to spend money on your Tahoe!!!
I hope someone else can chime in of the lift stuff since I don't know about it. I've been toying with the idea of maybe lifting mine as well, and from I've read is that you can get 2-3 inches of lift with keys and rear coil spacers. Some companie also sell 3 inch spindles like you mentioned, and maybe those would be better since they keep the front suspension geometry the same.

Should I look for some stockers, or just go aftermaket wheels? I am assuming I will need shocks too, and what brand you recomend for the spindle kit, or does it really matter?

i Also have a 2002 2wd, im also going to run 35x12.5x16...you can fit 35's with 3" of lift, like a body lift, or spindles and rear prob 2 or 3" spacer, myself im going to do 2" keys+2" rear spacers and 3" body lift with 35x12.50's on aftermarket 16x8's......BTW that tahoe in your little pic looks to have a 6" suspension lift, if u want that big, do what im doing ....get ford keys/2" spacers and a 3" body lift, itll be alot cheaper than a 6" suspension lift, and give you a total of about 5-5.5"F...5-5.25" R lift

3'' spindle about 300 bucks less if u can find used ones
keys about 50-100 bucks
3'' rear spacer about 30-40 bucks
3'' bl 350 bucks. 1.5'' zone 150 bucks
6'' rcx kit 999
6'' procomp full drop 1800
id do spindle, keys 1.5'' b, and spacers. that will run you about 600 - 700 if u do all the work yourself
