2000-2006 was the same bodystyle for suv and trucks.

Is it not acceptable to call them 1st 2nd 3rd generation etc. or even easier gen1, gen2 gen3 ect...

Because if you tried to buy a first gen suburban you wouldn't be buying a '95


A first generation tahoe is the same body style as an eighth generation suburban. If you name the body style and not the generation it gets easier to tell what truck you are talking about and nbs is shorter that GMT-800.
