Well boys...picked up an 08 Tahoe LT today. Leather, 4x4, 70k miles, no navi or anything crazy but a pretty decently loaded truck and all I need to do is throw a navigation unit in it super happy...payments are same as my truck, insurance is cheaper and gas is certainly going to be cheaper thanks guys

And how in the world are you guys getting so good gas mileage. I average 11.8 all highway.:: although I do have a heavy right foot. :: mines a 2wd.

Congrats! I wouldn't even think about a 2WD out west in most places since elevation can change so quick.

Please correct me if I"m wrong, but aren't snow chains a big NO NO according to the instruction manual? Has anyone here successfully used chains on their truck?

IDK...but I do know that you won't get up most local SoCal mountains with at least carrying them with you

Thinking eventually some black wheels, black bowties and window tint...the tint will be coming sooner than later...the others I'm not sure...maybe an intake and exhaust...nav/dvd/bluetooth and a sub
