I recently sold my 1961 Panel in order to get something better for the family. Last Friday I got an 04 Yukon XL SLT 2wd. It h only has 129k miles, the interior is dirty, but not damaged at all.

My plans are to clean it up and drive it. Also, I plan on removing the center console and building a custom jump seat. I have an extra 3rd row seat that I will use for its leather and I will narrow the frame...

Really nice panel van! I got rid of my jump seat for a center console, lol. Opposite of you.

Nice looking XL! Dirty interior is an easy fix. Lol. Well at least for this detailer. Haha. Looks good though! Interesting idea for the front jump seat. I'd newer trade my front buckets and center console for a jump seat. Lol. But then again I'm a 25 year old single guy with that's lidless, rolling around in a XL Denali. I have no need for a jump seat haha. Immature you will love your XL. They are pretty stinkin reliable!

Welcome to the family! I hope that nice XL will take your mind off the loss of the 61.

Thanks for the replies guys. I decided not to do the front bench seat at this point. Im going to do a 4th row instead!! Then I can take my family and 6 more!

I got several of the little bugs worked out in the last few days, and I found an OE rear cub box for it. I plan to see if an 8" JL will fit in it....
