Gents I think it's time for me to buy new pigtails for my lights. As I was rotating the connectors (both signal and DRL) to get them out my headlights, those connectors started to disintegrate right in my hands. They did feel a bit brittle when I pulled them out the original housing but this time they are literally falling apart when I went to pull them out the new housing. On both sides at that. The passenger side DRL was so bad that there is a little bit of metal contacts for the bulb now exposed. I guess after 16 years in the AZ heat they finally had it. I also discovered some burn marks on the passenger side DRL connector as well. Not saying this is without a doubt what may be causing my issue but I think I will replace ALL pigtails then try troubleshooting again.

Looks good. I got the Depo headlights and did the ping pong ball mod to keep them from bouncing around. The brackets were a bit softer compared to OEM, so in the end I swapped out the OEM brackets onto the Depo headlights and they fit much tighter.

When you have your new Depo headlights installed, you insert one or two ping pong balls in between the actual light and the frame to keep them from wobbling. Some guys have no issues. Mine tended to wobble so I put 2 balls in there to stabilize the lights.

It is a bit ghetto, but it works and nobody can see it. I then decided to swap out the Depo brackets to OEM brackets to stiffen up the lights which worked better.

Had no issue with my headlights, my replacement fog lights on the other hand act like they are sitting on the San Andres fault line!

That is an known issue and OEM fault with the brackets and mounting position down there. Some guys bracket them up tighter, change them out for more sturdy LEDs or pod LEDS. I don't run them that often to warrant the change, but the Depos needed attention. Again every truck seems to have a mind of its own...you know? lol

Looked into similar parking lights when they first came out until seeing others who had them told me the LED's start go quickly. 1 guy had 7 out in less than 6 months.

Most recent spyder assy I own came in Spyder marked packaging with quality projectors and use stock bulb size.

Get your $ back. I dig LED markers. Hopefully yours include Spyders craftsmanship warranty

Yeah been going through email with carID. It's without a doubt their lights that is giving me fits. It's popping the parking light fuse. I was asked to rotate them (the connectors 180 degrees) which solved the issue of the fuse popping but I still have not parking lights.

When I plug my old bulbs in I have no issues. When I plug the new lights in...POP! There goes another fuse.

Waiting to hear back from them...

First thing I want to clear up some issues with my statement about the problems that I was having as I did not properly explain it which I apologize.

1. Minus the parking lights. Everything else works (signal, flashers, corner lights (flashing) and DRL). So yes, it's my parking lights that does not work. I went back through some of my statements and realize I might have been causing some confusion.

2. Yes I was popping my parking light fuse. At first I thought the fuse was fine but after looking at those tiny fuse closely it was popped for the parking lights.

3. I contacted CarID (still talking to them) and they stated that I should rotate the connector 180 degrees (as fosscore and 05Single suggested). Well the good news is that I no longer pop the parking light fuse but not only did the lights still not work but it blew out the fuse for the signal light.

I would like to try a load resister but I was informed that those were not good for parking lights as they will get very hot for being on for so long instead of on/off if used for as a signal light.

Still waiting on CarID to get back with me.
