Well, just think about everytime you go to the gas pump, multiply the price by at least 2

Later LTZ models have an upgraded rear bumper assembly that is the same as the one the Denali and Escalade has.

As with any vehicle, small tweaks and refinements happen incrementally every year ... the six speed transmission replaced the earlier four speed, and some other small stuff. In 2012 the Navigation system finally became hard drive based from the earlier DVD based version. I think the newer LTZ have chrome 20s as opposed to polished 20s but I'm not sure if that's stock or an option.

I drove my Tahoe Hybrid and drive my Denali in NYC all the time and it's great.

If fuel pain isn't a major deal for you, you won't regret getting one.

Welcome aboard. :)

Yup, bench or captain's chairs are two different interior configs.

Captain's chairs ftw if you don't have a large family to schlep around. :)

The 2nd row captain's chars are standard on the 2012 LTZ and the bench on the LT/LS.

But you'll find used LTZs with bench and LTs with captain's ... it all depends in the year and option package, including if it's an LT1/LT2 and so on.

Plus they are interchangeable, so some people swap them after they get their truck or have the dealer change them when they buy the truck.

I went from a Honda to a Denali. Major difference is gas of course and getting used to driving a much bigger vehicle. I would say my gas expense doubled easily but I love the truck and won't look back. This is probably the nicest vehicle I've ever owned and I've had 5-6 cars in my life. Also, the availability of options to modify the truck is endless.
