Thanks Sparks! Is yours a PPV or were the Kanine units the SSV? I was curious about that as I imagine k-9 would do rapid response and have the PPV package. Cheers
Both of mine are definitely PPVs. It's flagged that way by my insurance and shown as PPV on the option data plate.

M30 which indicates the 6L80.

M30 is for the 4L60, M3 for the 4L65 and M70 for the Supermatic 4L70 used behind the L76 in pickups and 4L75. MYC is for the 6L80 and MYD is for the 6L90 used in the 2500s.

Oh, just an FYI, those wheels are from the previous generation GMT800s, I think they were 4x4 or AWD GMC wheels but could be mistaken. Are they 16s or 17s? Stock cop wheels were 265-60-17 and stock for a regular Tahoe are 265-70-17.

I assure you I have it’s a 6speed though. It’s licensed and on the road.

My bad! I goofed and misinterpreted the decoder on Chevrolet.com. It read MYC, M30. The comma separated the SSV and the PPV package. If there’s a better decoder out there let me know!

The rims are 17’s. Not my favorite. No idea what they came from. Need rubber bad. Thinking Cooper Discoverer A/T3.

Email GM and they will decode your VIN for free. Compnine.com is $5 for 5 VINs, or it was last time I used them. Snow tires, well, the BFG KO2s are snow rated and excellent in the rain too besides mud and rocks and sand and such.
