Email GM and they will decode your VIN for free. Compnine.com is $5 for 5 VINs, or it was last time I used them. Snow tires, well, the BFG KO2s are snow rated and excellent in the rain too besides mud and rocks and sand and such.

Good to know GM will do it for free. As far as tires, I don’t think I’m going true snow tire. Probably an A/T with decent snow performance. This might see some use in the transitional seasons too.

I have K

I have KO2s on thecopcar. Pretty quiet, and don’t seem to have changed the mileage much over the Eagle RS-As I had.

Nice! I really like the KO2s and was wondering if they would be noisy. I can tolerate quite a bit, but the Mrs and the doggos won’t have it lol.

Welcome to the group Chris! I am in Sterling Heights and have a GMT400 that is sold but still in my driveway waiting for some wrenching, and my new prize (besides the V) is a 2018 Tahoe PPV 4WD w 72k!

I have a bunch of extra stock and upgrade parts as well as PPV rims and tires I need to sell. Either way we should get together so we can get you all straightened out. Shoot me a PM and I'll send you my cell#

I was there for the outdoor flea market set up selling and also our sister company Price Right RV is located in Dewitt so I had to check that out while I was up there. I am sure I will be back to sell at the flea market again next year as we did rather well both times. It is a little over 2 hours to get there from here.

Welcome to the group...I have '13 SSV that I drove home from Arizona to Florida before moving to NH....My fluids were all the same as a reg 'Hoe....As for tires, I ditched the OE aluminums that were stuck on it for OE Silverado 20's running Cooper AT3s-fairly quiet and runs true....

Anywho-best of luck with your new ride....

The KO2s aren't Blizzaks but they are one of the best tires to use in the snow or anywhere else for that matter out there. Mine have gotten a little noisier at near 50K miles now, mostly because the bad ball joint has worn the inside of the tread down.

If memory serves (dont wager any good money), the Cooper AT3s were "severe snow rated" which are not true blue snow tires, but they are better than just regular All season variations. They would have been perfect for my life in Florida and should be decent here in New Hampshire - so far so good!
