What's up guys! I've left the Euro world and entered the SUV world. I picked up a new black 2009 LT Tahoe last year, I think it's time for me to start modding. I really like the murdered out look, but it's getting played out! Instead of all black wheels, I was thinking about doing a glossy black lip with a dull dark grey spoke. But I need some feed back if it will look good.

Also, I need help as far as dropping it. I want to go spindles.........I hear it rides better! Not sure if I should go with 22's or 24's with a 2/3 drop. Tire size input needed too!

Thanks in advance for your feedback!!

If you're going with a 2/3 drop, you will probably want 24's. 22's look fairly small on these nnbs tahoes and yukons. I did the McGaughy's 2/3 with spindles, springs, and shock extenders, and mine rides almost as good as stock height with wheels. Mine are 24's with 305/35 tires. With the drop, you will need to trim some of the rear inner fender wells to eliminate rubbing. My tahoe is dirty in this picture, but you can get an idea of what 24's and a 2/3 drop look like.

Welcome! Go with 24's for sure, the NNBS really holds them well. Just put mine on and love them, haven't done the drop yet. REALLY need to, to close the gap in the wheel wells esp on the back end. Minimal rubbing with 205/35R24 rubber. You will find answers to EVERYTHING here and so many new ways to spend money on your truck that you'd never even thought of :)

Millercreek, love your Hoe!! I want to do the 2/3 drop as well.

Good info! After seeing your pics, I think I'll go with 24's. How's the ride with 24's? I have two littles and don't want a rough ride.

Your Tahoe sick, thanks for the pics!!

I have an 18 month old and a 2 1/2 year old- and they still fall asleep in the car, no problem. I try to be more careful on potholes, right turning on shoulder, etc- but to be honest with you I have not noticed that much of a difference. I can feel the road a little bit more but it only took me a day or 2 to get used to. It is my daily ride with an without the kids and I do not regret the 24's at all.

Post pics when you put 'em on!! :D
