Hello...

new here from Texas.... Houston area...

97' Tahoe, 2wd 2dr....

rebuilding the transmission and hope to be on the road soon....

tahoe has a 3" body lift on it, looking to get rid of it if anyone wants one....

would like to go lower....

its a 2wd.... i like the 4wd's too....

it is a 3" body lift, and i would be happy to do some swapping with someone local for their stock body bolts and front bumper brackets etc.....

I am in the houston area....

trying to get back to stock ride height and then maybe i will go a little lower....

Welcome! Looks like a good start so far. Honestly, I would keep it as is and add some stuff here and there. I wouldn't go through all the effort to change out the body-lift, then lower it.

Truck looks good as is. If your showing some frame from the body-lift, invest in some nice full-length steps and that should add something to it!
