I was wondering if they meant a NEW Tahoe, and were talking about the paint protector white vinyl they transport from the factory with.
Then I saw the names and read again how it was wrote; I guess I went a little racist with it. I pictured a big Mexican flag covering 3/4 of the side, and 120% of the hood.

sounds like you need a code scanner? most autoparts stores will read the codes for free, otherwise whip out the big bucks 
, actually some are not really all that expensive, you can get a decent used one off ebay pretty cheap.
