I don't post a lot on this website, just surf for answers and updates. I purchased a set of KMC Brodies in Dec of 2010 and just yesterday my tpms lit up and said that my left rear tire was low. I looked for hours for a nail, and even figured maybe it was the valve stems because they are all metal and not rubber. Well I ran some soap over the wheels to clean them, and right on the spoke to lip radius, there was a little gathering of bubbles. Then I started to hear a hiss. Fortunately tire kingdom is going to warranty the wheel, but I think it's the oddest thing I've ever seen and wondered if anyone else on here has ever purchased aftermarket wheels and have had leaks through the surface of the wheel? If I knew how I'd post the 10 sec video.

Yeah when I called this morning, the guy at tire kingdom called me back in 15 mins of me calling him and told me that KMC was shipping him a replacement next day so it turned out ok. Just hope the other 3 don't do it down the line. I don't see how a pin hole can just develop all of a sudden after 4 months.

Yeah they handled it very quickly, as far as approving the replacement wheel. Tire Kingdom gave me this long speech about manufactures having to get a hold of the wheel and test it and send it to china, and blah, blah, blah, but because I'm a loyal customer, they will eat the cost and replace it. Then like an hour later, I got a different story from them, saying that KMC wanted to rush me a replacement wheel. The update on the situation is, after I posted this thread, I parked my truck and got a rental for the weekend, and went to look and see if maybe I could see a hole or something to post a pic. Well I actually saw a crack about 75% of the spoke. If you know what the brodies look like, it's where the spoke meets the lip. It's like it's seperating from the lip or something. I'm going to take pics of it when I get back monday, but I bet my truck will be sitting on a flat. Sucks too.
