Went thru a brand new car wash, brand new brushes and scrubbers with the cloth strips spinning around crazy fast and hard. (I haven’t got around to a full exterior detail and paint correction yet on this like I did with the Tahoe. Once I do that it will be touchkess car washes only). They peeled the plastidip off a little bit on the center caps. All good, just trimmed the outer area and left the center blue. Looks better imo anyway.
Wrapped the grille badge in blue reflective film, much nicer looking than the red. It’s the little details.

Another idea I had was to wrap the B pillars in gloss black, but just on the doors to give the illusion of a longer and more proportionate looking window, it came out good. Added a reverse camera. Not a great picture. Think I might have a bad ground. And it’s monsoon season here, thunder and rain almost everyday. This was a screenshot from an actual video. Got a set of oem spec decals , supposedly, but they were off by an 1/8 of an inch width wise, height it was perfect. Then I realized the 71 was white and not silver. So I wasn’t having that and I have to hand cut the 71 off to expose my oem sticker but still have the blue Z. The white looked weird and didn’t really flow or match anything
Got some viper window decals for extra precaution just cause

The blue Z blended in too much and all you could see was the 71 unless you were really up close. FAIL!!!
So I precisely hand cut a Z from the reflective wrap I had, same stuff I used on the grille badge. It’s a little brighter so it’s more visible. This was just a another idea I thought I’d try, worst case I remove the z71 decal all together, which is the plan later on anyway.

Tossing around some ideas for a poor man’s turn signal designs. I’d rather design around my switchback bulbs rather than the unreliable led strips.
First laid down some chrome so the light would reflect and scatter out more from the clear part. Then gloss black on top.

Beautiful sunset.

The sunsets here are unbelievable, unlike anywhere else compared to all of the places I’ve been. The deep intense Blues, pinks, purples all together in one spot. Camera phone doesn’t do the colors justice and doesn’t even pick up half the colors. Love the sunsets here.
