I recommend changing the heater hoses and plastic "T-Fittings. We have a 2007 Tahoe LTZ with 145,000 miles and the heater hose broke at the firewall plastic "T-fitting" and lost a lot of fluid as we arrived home from AML Leukemia Chemo treatment. Rock Auto has good prices for the hoses with "T-fittings. Changing these will ensure that you don't
experience a future failure at an inconvenient time or location.
Do not buy the Dorman ones- there have been failures of them soon after installing. Buy OEM. They last at least 150k or 10-15 years, Dorman not so much.Wasnt aware. I have the new dealer parts just need the day to do the job. Thank you for the tsb i want to look into that also.
