Hello all,
lots of great info on this site. Decided to jump into an suv after hurricane Irene totaled my E350. Been doing a lot of shopping around and found a 2012 LT all star edition that I really liked. Dealer gave me an offer of $44,900 which they say is $8 over invoice. Im not too good at the car negotiation thing was wondering what you all think of that price..

Best,
Brian

:welcome: to the Forum Brian!

Hmmm.... That doesn't sound too bad for a 2012. You might be able to do a little better on the price. However, I don't know what options are included with that price. You say it is an LT, but what all does it have on it? What is the mileage (it can't be much)? Is it 2WD or 4WD? According to the Chevy website, 2012 LT's start at $43,680 for 2WD, and $46,530 for 4WD. The All Star Edition adds $2,820 to that price. If you look at those numbers, your price quote is already under.

I am sure some other members can chime in and offer some more insight. Good luck with the purchase, and keep us updated!! :Handshake:

Thanks for the reply,

It is 4wd with the heavy duty tow rear bucket seats heated seats in the front sunroof and like I said the all star package Msrp was right around 51. I think it's a pretty good deal but am not sure what everyone else is spending. Additionally it being the first offer from the dealer leads me to believe I'd have a little bit of wiggle room..
