New trans install questions

how you guys doing today more questions for my 2001 Denali 6.0 85k miles

I'm installing a new transmission got off a escalade with 87,000 miles what else should I replace while doing the removal and install

What do you guys recommend doing to the trans before install

New trans gasket and filter ???

Is it a 4l60e? Corvette servo if it is

If/when you do the corvette servo(very easy), 2 big things to be sure of:

1. Put the 4th gear(outer most) apply piston in the cup, then put that on. Don't put it on the rest of the servo back then try to put the cover on. The teflon seal can pop out and get pinched during install if done another way, I learned that the hard way

2. Make absolutely sure the circlip is seated in all the way else your cover will pop out and you lose fluid. I've also heard of a couple instances where the cover gets cocked at an angle and the fluid pressure causes it to crack the transmission case. So make sure it's in there good!

May not need it but may not hurt to replace the rear main seal to just prevent a future issue.

I would change the rear and front seal then the filter when its installed. Make damn sure its full when you first start it up!
