Well, Z71 I purchased mainly because I do actually go offroad. We have a farm in South Kansas and after ripping off parts while headed out shooting in a buddies Tahoe I figured this would be a better bet. Ride is good, trim level as I ordered this one is basically an LTZ less the magnetic ride and street wheels. Sun and Fun + the lux package and the 2 speed transfer case were the requirements. We aren't doing anything "Jeep" offroading, but better safe than sorry and replacing a skidplate is cheaper than a front bumper cover..

BUT back to the lights, When out in the sticks a flood light works much better than a flashlight and the stock non HID are a joke on these trucks. That is the only thing I wish was an orderable option.

I too wish HID were an option, but after livng with the sensitive intellibeam for awhile, I am leaning toward LED, which LED fogs would compliment very well!

Please keep us updated as to how they do--get any fog this morning?
