Hi everyone. I'm a newbie here. I've owned a couple C1500's over the years and just bought a used 1999 Tahoe. It should be delivered within the next week or so, it's coming to me from California.
Attached here is a pic of my purchase. I'll be sure to share more once I take delivery and can get it properly cleaned up and detailed to my satisfaction.
It's got a Bell-Tech 4/5.5" drop, 17x8/17x9.5" salt flat wheels, louvered hood and roll pan. Overall she appears very clean and no rust on it. The biggest issue is there are 258,000 miles on the original 350 Vortec motor. I've heard many say that's nothing that they can push 300k or better with minimal issues, but I've also heard others who say that's way too many. As you all know buying used is a crap-shoot anyway so as clean as she is overall, I went for it.
So as soon as I take delivery and can get a solid day to polish her all up, I'll be sure to share more pics and details. Regardless, I'm looking forward to chatting and sharing on the forum with others.
