I've had them on a different truck. I Loved 'em! Weren't noisy at all (for an A/T tire) wore well and had great traction in the rain.
I ran a 325/65r18. Not sure about the new G2's though, should be similar, maybe even better!

I had G1's on the suburban, now G2's I've only had them on since the spring so I cant really comment on wear (maybe 5K miles, truck spent alot of time under the knife between the exhaust fabrication for 2-3 weeks, blower install, flexplate replacement/rebuilt trans/converter etc) The noise is louder than an average oem touring/all season, but tolerable. Wet traction (on the rear wheels at least) isn't the greatest but I have a little more power than an average application.

For a A/T they really aren't loud at all. the only person ive ever heard complain about them is a guy that thinks all tires should sound like the tires he runs on his prius :nono:

I have the G2's. They come with a 65,000 mile warranty I believe and the noise is slightly louder than OEM but not bad at all. I am enjoying them and happy I got them... I got same size as OEM 285/45/22's

thanks... my wheels just came in.. so now I need to make a decision. I still can't believe the 420S did not work out.... so maybe the G2's are the way to go
