I have a 2009 Yukon 4WD, 88k miles, with the ZW7 code and am going to level it.
I ordered the Bilstein 5100's for all 4 corners and I'm going to have the fronts installed at the tallest setting. I also bought a set of Moog springs for a non-ZW7 Yukon, and 0.75" Daystar coil spacers. I'm not 100% sure if I'll put the spacers in until I see how the truck sits, I don't want the front actually level with the rear, I still want a little bit of rake.
Anyway, I rolled under the back and the rear shocks look like they've already been replaced with AC Delco shocks. They're dark blue with black tops, and aren't any bigger than any other shocks I've seen, unlike the massive Nivomats. The truck rides okay right now, I'm mostly doing it for a little bit of lift and then possibly putting 275/60-20's on a little later on (I am on Cooper ATP 275/65-18's right now).
So it looks like someone already got around to replacing the stock shocks? What are the odds they changed the rear springs out too? I already ordered everything and the springs were only like $39 so I'll put them in anyway.
