I did connect my OBDII code reader, and it came back with zero codes. That code reader is from the late 90s, so I am not sure if it read zero codes because it did not interface, or because there were not any codes? It does power up when connected to the port, but that could just be because there is power at pin 16.
Are there any other functions, like lights not coming on or blower not working, that would indicate a communication break between the PCM and BCM?
Having the cluster just lets me know if it is a VATS issue? I could try getting another cluster from a local yard.
