There is an o-ring seal at the dipstick. If you're lucky it didn't pump out all the ATF, only enough to limit the function and not ruin the internals
i got up under there the first chance I got and changed the O ring. But I’m now suspecting a bad pump. I on a nice write up that a loss of all gears was more than likely the pump. So I’m headed to the junk yard today to pull one.
