No sound from front speakers

I don't drive this vehicle very often, today my wife took my truck. I noticed I have no sound coming from the front door speakers only audio in the front is from the tweeters in the pillar. And it sounds horrendous. Also have no chime, seatbelt warning etc. is it a speaker problem, or a head unit problem?

Sounds like a head unit problem. On the non bose all your sounds run through the head unit
