I can honestly say I have never been pulled over for the lights.

I take the front covers off at night, no light output at all, its terrible.

Anytime I have been pulled over I get told that the covers on my rear lights are illegal and that I have to remove them. I always reply that there are no covers on them and that the lights are oem. (which they are , just tinted)

Typically now I only get pulled over when I am in an area that I don't frequent. I live in a small town and drive through another small town to get to my business. Small towns typically have fewer police officers and Im pretty sure they all have seen me by now. ha
