Non Ethanol Gas MPG question

if it was designed for ethanol use, it should be fine. But if your putting it in a vehicle that wasn't designed for it, it can rot fuel lines and anything rubber it touches.

Thanks. My truck is flex fuel capable, but I'd heard someone somewhere say that even flex fuel vehicles can be damaged running E85 100% of the time. I guess they were referring to non-flex fuel capable fuel systems.

Thanks ladies and gents, I will try to run non ethanol in it as much as possible, even if it is a little more expensive. I think it will save money in the long run as it means fewer trips to the gas station.

I wish the Gasbuddy app had an option to search for non ethanol. Anyone know of an app that does?
