So I have this Ideal that I know works but want to know if its safe. I started putting NOS octane booster in my gas tank. I did this because the west coast only friggin sells 91 octane( versus 93 octane on the east coast but dont know if there is a significant difference). The OB says up to 6 rating numbers, so at the most I would be burning 97 octane. I use those exspensive spark plugs( iridium I think) so I should have a hotter spark to burn it. Gas mileage went out the roof, averaging around 100-150 highway miles before the gas needle moves below the F! but am i slowly ******* something up? its like crack, cause the performance goes out the roof, and I cant stop putting it in there! Yay or nay on it before I do some damage or get a ticket.

OK first things first. What mods are you running that require high octane fuel, first of all? Tune?

Secondly, theres no way you're getting 6 full octane points out of a 10 dollar bottle of octane booster. People have done study upon study with a whole bunch of different brands, and none of them amount to shit. When they say that you're getting "6 octane points", that means you're going from 91 to 91.6 for a full tank of gas, NOT 97 octane. You'll get maybe 1 full point for about 5 gallons of fuel. They are a scam most of the time.

I do think that NOS puts out a better product than most, but at the MOST you're probably only seeing a couple extra full points per tank. You shouldn't use it constantly though...most of the octane boosters on the market rely on a chemical compound called MMT (methyl cyclopentadienyl manganese tricarbonyl or something like that), which can really mess up your sensors over time.

If its working for you, great. But use it sparingly.

Pretty sure you were just being a smartass as usual lol...but to honestly answer your question, no, you can't. The formulations are such that once you reach a certain level of the product, you actually start degrading performance. It's gotta have a certain ratio of gasoline to work right.
