Well Sun. Oil Pressure is good. 55 PSI cold, 40 PSI Warm with throttle, 20 PSI @ 600rpm at idle warm. This was checked with a mechanical gauge. I pulled out the mechanical gauge because i took the Tahoe on a 30-45 min trip and the gauge in the cluster dropped to below zero while idling at a stop light. You want to talk about getting that crazy eyed look of oh crap. Never tripped the check gauge light or heard sounds of knocking. Yes it has full oil and nothing is mixing. Yes I immediately pulled into the auto parts store right there at the stop light and grabbed a mechanical gauge.
Bad news is that my fuel gauge is on crack or something. And my oil pressure gauge in the dash is totally off about 10-15 psi. But I am thinking with the fuel gauge doing its own thing and spinning in circles at times it has readjusted the oil pressure needle to read less.
Any thoughts on the fuel gauge being a spazz. If you want I'll grab you a video.
